Christopher Ward C700 Grande Rapide Chronograph

The C700 was Christopher Ward's flagship Motorsport watch.

At its heart is the famous ETA 7750 Valjoux movement, which can be found inside many premium watch brands such as Breitling, TAG Heuer, Panerai, Omega, IWC etc. etc.

I've had it just over a year now so It's going up for sale to open the door for something new.

This is a used watch in very good used condition.

I bought it during a CW archive clearance in January 2016, so the movement warranty is valid until January 2021.

This model is no longer available from Christopher Ward and was actually retired well before I bought it, so it's probably the last C700 they sold.

It did come to me with some slight indentations to the lugs on the rear case - there are no replacement cases available so I had no problem living with that.

I have worn it regularly on rotation as part of a collection over the last 12 months. During that time it has picked up a few more minor marks, the most significant of which are probably the 'desk diving' marks on the bracelet clasp and a small nick on the bezel at 12.02. There are a few other light blemishes too - most of which would come out with a bit of Cape Cod buffing. I'll continue to enjoy it while it's up for sale and will update the listing if it picks up any additional blemishes.

It was originally supplied on a black strap, so the user book has the model number suffix SKK, but I bought a £120 CW bracelet for it instead, effectively turning it into a C700 SKS.
