C70 VW4 Limited Edition
Christopher Ward C70 VW4 Chronometer Limited Edition
Christopher Ward created the VW4 to celebrate the 1957 victory at Aintree of the Vanwall VW4 racing car. Driven by Tony Brooks and Stirling Moss, it was the first time a World Championship Grand Prix race had been won in Britain by a British car, driven by British drivers.
The '20' at 12 o'clock pays homage to the race number on Brooks and Moss' car at the time.
This C70 VW4 is no longer available from Christopher Ward - selling out some time ago. This is likely to be the last one available still in new, unworn condition.
It is a Februart 2016 watch with movement warranty valid to Feb 2021.
Items included with the watch are: covering letter, COSC certificate, owner book with Certificate of Authenticity.
Available here at the original selling price of £599.
Please note the first four pictures are library shots. The rest show the actual watch.
