C10 Bomb Disposal 75 Limited Edition 001 of 100
C10 Bomb Disposal 75 Limited Edition 001 of 100
Rare new archive find C10 BD Limited Edition number 001 of 100
Christopher Ward has a well-established relationship with the British military, having produced many limited edition runs for the Army, Navy and RAF.
This C10 BD was produced to mark 75 years of Royal Engineer Bomb Disposal (search BD75) and 100 pieces were made, each featuring the engraved bomb fuse on the rear case.
To the best of my knowledge, these watches were only ever available to the public briefly in July 2017, when Christopher Ward put the last few up for sale via their website - they sold in a matter of minutes. I happened to be in the right place at the right time in January 2018 when this last watch, serial number 001, was offered for sale.
The C10 Bomb Disposal edition is a significant improvement over the the original C10 Aviator Mk1 it's based on - the green 7 and 5, plus the B, D in place of the 9 and 3 are great touches.
I've only ever spotted two come up on the used market, so this is your chance to get hold of a very rare and great looking timepiece.
The watch for sale in this listing is brand new, never worn. CW warranty valid to January 2023.
